In October 2008 we designed a natural meadow environment with ponds and marginal bog areas for Alan and Avril’s ‘ROULOTTE RETREAT’ at Bowden, here in the Scottish Borders. Five years on and the meadow has matured into a very beautiful setting for their ‘glamping’ experience. Alan and Avril were passionate about creating a space that would be biodiverse and create eco-systems to attract and sustain wildlife.
